Just last year I know of 3 pain clinics in my state that were pushing the Fentanyl patch like a carnival guy at a game on the midway. AND they actually got a tad irritated, rude & snippy when I declined. It was baffling cuz for the past few years they've treated me like a drug addict for even mentioning I'd like relief from a medical issue I've had for over 45 years. Pain part doesn't happen daily so them pushing the 24/7 patch also didn't make sense. Plus I'm a nurse, so I know when/why/how Fentanyl is used. Just got up & walked out of 3rd place & now use 'herbal' medication

@TheFrenchPug don't forget housing, food stamps, basical essentials, NEW clothing, education, job training & monthly cash for each adult & child. Can you even imagine how much these "non" profit groups are making? Remember those few "non" profits that joe kept secret & sent to the border to decide who gets asylum status? I bet they're bazillionaires by now cuz if I remember correctly there were only like 5 of them.

@laceyb9147 my days as a nurse working in chemical dependency were before Fentanyl but I imagine the withdrawal is pretty horrific & as a person in recovery since the 90s, I say "try with every fiber in you, use all help available to you-friends, family, recovery social media groups, church, hot line, hospital detox if you have a good one nearby.. to get thru the battle to NO LONGER have a drug run your life. Because I swear from experience, even the awful things that randomly happened in my life when clean. Are still waaaay better than the awful way I felt about myself once I realized my life revolved around a drug & not my family, friends or future" I'm not meaning you personally. But I'm guessing by your comment you probably know someone struggling. 🤦‍♀️ sorry...I got a tad rambling. But if 1 person reads it & feels stronger I'm ok with this one ramble ❤
