The oldest students, young adults, have the strongest immune systems, and the greatest need for hands on classes because of the subjects that some of them are studying. Also WA has a lot of disadvantaged, indigenous, kids who are the ones who are (generally speaking) less likely to be able to effectively learn from home. The problem is that some kids could take the virus back home to their particularly vulnerable elders. Some sort of boarding arrangements could help with that.
