  1. It doesn't pass the "If they really wanted him dead he would be dead." test. I say if the stories are real they are simply a form of intimidation and psychological torture, which makes more sense as they want him to suffer as much as possible for as long as possible. A quick death achieves very little as he is already functionally redundant.

  4.  @angelmy4904  Actually what you don't realise is that the 5 eyes is literally all controlled by the one large extended family across all of those nations, because that family built those nations. All the key players are genealogically connected.
