  1. Lies lies lies, they have had only 26 deaths in a population twice the size of NZ, so that makes their death rate significantly lower than the one in NZ. You can't say it is because it is early days there either as the infection has been running unfettered there since June 2020 and if 1/3 of people are infected already that means that they can expect only 3 times as many deaths as they have seen so far. You have to be realistic, most people in PNG don't live long enough or get enough food to find themselves in the at risk cohort.
