What a shame, these protests are a gold mine for the police and intelligence agencies as they get to ID all of the young people that they will need to keep an eye on in future years, and by ID I mean in every way available to them including phone metadata. Even if you turn your phone off once you get near the protest there is a pattern of phones converging on the location while they are still on and that pattern is not typical for those phones on other days. But I understand Berejiklian's motives because to her black lives really do matter, particularly those who we all know are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
