  1. The people at Deloitte are systematic pathological liars, because they are not fools and they know that they are not telling the truth. For one nothing Australia does will change the climate because what we do is a tiny fraction of all human activities on the globe, furthermore there is no evidence that human generated CO2 is the major contributor to the global CO2 levels and this can be clearly seen in the actual scientific evidence documented in the Keeling Curve data. The pandemic slowdown did not leave a significant proportional signal in the rate of CO2 rise for 2020. Based on UN numbers r.e. the impact vs the change in CO2 rise rates the data clearly shows that a 100% drop in global emissions from human activities would not stop the rise in global CO2 levels. i.e. The major driver in CO2 level rises is a natural phenomena, probably as anyone with a clue about physics and chemistry knows, water's ability to hold dissolved CO2 in solution decreases with temperature, therefore it has to be something on the scale of solar radiation, the level of the sun's energy output, that is driving CO2 level changes. So are we all doomed? No, because there is no actual evidence that the "greenhouse" hypothesis is supported by the laws of physics as we understand them today, specifically all known processes in thermodynamics.
