That on top of the fact that his government and the states worked together to wreck the economy, then he borrowed a huge amount of money (from who?) and then handed it out to his victims (and as you say his mates). Now his victims (the average PAYE taxpayer) are expected to be grateful while paying off that huge debt including the interest on it (how much and to whom is it being paid?). So in effect what they did was artificially set up a massive gravy-train for some unknown group of people who will get fat off those interest repayments for years to come as the burden of paying them holds back our economy.
