The IPA quote actual data and the Australia Institute just, literally, ridicule the concern of millions of Australians, clearly the name of that organisation should be Australians Who Should Be institutionalised. they are crazy zealots who seek to personally profit from the destruction of a vast amount of energy assets that belong to all Australians, and they expect those same taxpayers to fund their environmentally useless get rich quick schemes.

  3. As a retired academic I have to admit that you are generally speaking, correct. Their lives are so comfortable and removed from reality that they have very little genuine appreciation of or compassion for the struggles of the average person and often have a contemptuous attitude toward them. And that is the ones that are not being straight out self serving and evil, because make no mistake there is no guaranteed correlation between a man's IQ and his virtue.
