@bradfitzgerald7675 I know about the dynasties and the network of connections, most of those in power have far more connections to each other than they do to the rest of the nation and that is not healthy in a democracy. The other suspect group are the ones who were not even born here coming into the country and trying to tell us what our values should be and how our future must unfold.

You are never going to get the virus under control using just vaccinations, you'd have to deploy bioshield type technologies to further lower the R number and the impact of infections, otherwise you just reach a steady state of constant deaths in the vulnerable as the virus inevitably finds new people to infect and kill as there is a constant supply of new sick and old produced every day, this is the nature of life, we all cross the point of no return eventually where whatever bug that is circulating will finish us off. In this area it seems that the Palachook is deluding herself. Can she prove that Queensland has so far been anything but "lucky"? Buying time is not solving a problem, it is just an act of out running a tidal wave on flat ground, eventually you will run out of speed and succumb.
