  1. What happens if we gasify coal using solar heat and electrolysis derived hydrogen in Queensland and feed it into the nation gas pipeline network? People do realise that Green Hydrogen is a bit of a fraud unless you have a nuclear power plant at the back end driving it and even then you are just wasting a huge amount of energy with each redundant stage of the process and should just go direct to electricity with the nuclear power plant? One new dam in the mountains will do bugger all for a growing nation's needs.

  2. Sun->H2-->heat-->electricity? It is grossly inefficient. Did you know that there is already a direct coal to fuel cell process that is very efficient and there are no unconstrained gas or ash outputs from it? Funny how they never talk about tech like that.
