And if the real problem is that US society itself is sick and twisted, that the hypercompetitiveness of US culture is driving a diminishment of empathy and a lack of a sense of connection to community in some individuals? Guns are just the current prefered method, they are not the motivation behind these acute psychopathic and self destructive events.
