  2. Morpholinylethylmorphine is a Schedule I drug in the USA. Overdose causes respiratory depression like all of the other opiates, but it can also make the effect worse in other medications. My Dr says cough syrups are a fraud anyway and are ineffective. The anaphylactic shock risk is a completely different problem that has been known about for many years, but it never occurred to the medicos to test patients for antibodies as a way of eliminating the risk.
