  1. Meanwhile the farmers I know are selling direct to the public at lower prices. Look around you will find their websites and listing for your area. One guy has a "member's only store" when you swipe your card to open the door and then check out whatever you want. It is open 24/7 and has no staff so he can afford to sell the highest grade product at well below supermarket prices. It turns out that the ag sector has some of the most innovative people in Australia working in it these days.
