There are around 8.5 million Indians working in construction in the gulf states and the locals there treat them badly too, so how hard would it be to poach a few hundred thousand of the most skilled ones and have them here on temporary working visas? Every local with building skills would have to be promoted to a supervisor to manage the crews but in the end it would be a win win as there is far more work to go around than the locals can possibly handle.

  3.  @kerstinsundgren8012  The first lot have to build the accomodation for the rest of them, it is just basic project scheduling mate, no big deal, if you are a decent production/project manager. Scale things up in a rational way and keep your initial accommodation options flexible, portable, so that you can move them from site to site. Our mining companies have heaps of experience at this sort of thing.
