  1. Energy Minister Chris Bowen doesn't seem to have a clue as to how solar panels actually work either, and how massive solar farms can change the weather at a regional level. Here is what the science says about solar panels, over 70% of the sunlight hitting them is downconverted to waste heat which would otherwise have been reflected at a higher rate from the landscape.
