  1. ​ @newshound2521  What you don't seem to appreciate is that if you do not fully respect another person's human and civil rights then they have no ethical obligation to respect any of yours. A society cannot function under those conditions, you end up with a civil war and anarchy as the ultimate outcome, where it is not the most humane or righteous who determine how society operates but the most effectively violent and intimidatory. What makes you so sure that you could survive in such a world?
