With at least a billion cameras of one form or an other on the surface of Earth and in orbit we should not take any report seriously if it is not based on footage from at least two seperate devices. That eliminates most incidents in one hit.

@Cupid_Stunt Other methods apply. If it moves like it has not mass, defies the laws of physics, then it is probably an optical effect. Like you can sweep the point of a laser across the sky and back faster than any physical thing could ever move, particularly when you consider that air get very hot from friction and eventually turns to plasma over a few thousands of kilometers an hour of speed. i.e. If you can explain it within the laws of physics as a projection rather than an object then that is what it is.
