  1.  Stanley Goddard  The science predicts a wetter north, not drier, and that is across all seasons. Anyone who suggests that the same changes will happen uniformly across a continent as huge as Australia is a fucking moron and that includes the pinheads in The Department of Home Affairs.

  2. Actually no that is demonstrably false, even if initially the climate gets hotter and drier (rather than wetter as predicted for the north) and we get more and bigger fires, eventually there will be wholesale ecological changes across the landscape that make big and frequent fires less likely.
