This is very different from a natural immunity derived from all of the mutations that occur in your body during the course of an infection, a natural immunity is polyvalent. Harvesting blood from healthy volunteers who have had a recent infection would provide a far broader protection for those people with compromised immune systems who may rely on vaccines and that would also be safer for the community as it is those immunocompromised patients who suffer the infection for a protracted period of time and therefore are the greatest source of new variants of concern.
