This story gets regurgitated over and over and we never get an answer to the most fundamental questions about it. What evidence is there that the stolen generations were worse off compared to those who were left behind? Aside from the incidents of child abuse that were not exclusive to that group and were part of a society wide problem. Can anyone point me in the direction of the relevant dataset? This question never seems to get directly and honestly answered, but you'd think that it should not be that hard to substantiate the claims that these people were victimised and worse off than their peers who remained in their indigenous communities. Surely the government would not throw hundreds of millions of dollars at an issue without being able to substantiate the key claims behind the scheme?

@SirLangsalot False and unsubstantiated False analogy fallacy claim. And FYI ahole we have more dead and injured due to recent Human Rights abuses than we had in our conscripts during the entire Vietnam War.
