Very good move, they need to ensure it is safe for that cohort as they are the people who need it most, if it gets a good response in even the elderly without complications that is fantastic. The QLD molecular clamp is far more ethical, safer and effective when compared to the Oxford vaccine technology.

@AximandTheCursed No they are deliberately asking for volunteers as that group needs to be shown to be safe from side effects while actually mounting a useful immune response. @dotty6814 There are 100 different vaccines, the exact nature of the technologies makes all the difference, some are going to be safer than a wasp sting, others using more advanced technologies perhaps not. Your problem is that in truth you have no idea how any of them work and all you have to go by is irrational fear, that must be hard.
