  3. I was a knowledge management guy for the outfit that built our frigates so I have a sense of the scope of skills people have in this domain, you'd be surprised how few people understand some systems at a deep enough level to debug a failure that does not have an obvious cause.

  5. Potentially dodgy Chinese made electrical components, has been an issue in the past, but I'd be surprised if they are still silly enough to leave themselves open to that risk these days.
