  2. Assume that reality is a week ahead of the published counts for infections, deaths are far more up to date. So you take todays infection count and find it on the curve, then interpolate the curve out a week further then that is how many cases there really are now who are undetected, then from that you take the death rate and that is how many people will be dead in three weeks time.

  4.  Peter  The flu kills a different demographic range than COVID-19, there is overlap 🗗 but the combined cohort is bigger than either of the two.
