You can't defeat the likes of Putin with "honourable" tactics, you have to be prepared to take a Taliban style campaign to the front door of every soft Russian target on Earth, as we would have to do to the Chinese should they attack our home territory. Don't kid yourself that there is such a thing as a lawful and honorable war, if you murder other humans the means is irrelevant to the dead, nor is it somehow more acceptable to cull young men to save others as all lives are equal. What matters in the end is the termination of the aggressor's campaign of predation as rapidly as possible and with the least amount of overall death and destruction. If you want to defeat Russia you have to be prepared to do to them what they would do to you if the situation was reversed, then they will truly appreciate your resolve.
