If we closed off the nation's borders early and completely there would be no cases here and we could travel locally to bolster the tourist industry, and those who did not feel like traveling could enroll in part time courses at local universities to help them out with the lost student numbers. But the goverment stuffed that up completely and let the virus get into our community where it looks like it is starting to spread without importing any more cases into the country. Now we will have to at some point close down the entire country internally and that will cost a lot more than acting early would have. It is a bit hard to do your bit to support the economy when you have been ordered to stay off the streets. 😠
