The federal and state governments are 100% to blame for this situation as they could have invested in systems to convert any of our abundant carbon sources into syngas suitable for fuel synthesis rather than being so vulnerable to disruptions in overseas supplies. Yet another reason to never vote Labor or Liberal again. Only vote for parties that take our sovereign security and self reliance 100% seriously, and in a proactive manner.
