Comments by "" (@DanielSMatthews) on "Herd Immunity is ‘the only way’ to deal with the coronavirus" video.
There is more than one way to get an immune herd, the virus doesn't care what cells it infects so long as they express the ACE2 receptor, so you can lure it to its destruction with cells that do that but within which it cannot replicate because the genes it needs are not available, and or the cell is producing neutralising antibodies. These virus trap cells do not need to be your cells either, they can be modified versions of the cells that live all over your body anyway. Imagine that, all of your "good bacteria" forming a second external layer to your immune system without you needing to be infected or immunised first. Better yet when the next type of pandemic comes along you just change the target receptor codons and you get the same level of protection again. It would put an end to all airborne infectious diseases.

70% for a virus with the replication rate of COVID-19, it varies based on that one metric.

@mrbrisvegas2 No actually it is rock-solid science (and you are a slanderous asshole) as there is already one study of coronavirus infection mitigation in a childcare setting that has found that the process is already occurring naturally, (see the notes below the main text here -->). https://dsmatthews.blogspot.com/2020/04/covid-19-solution-changing-rules-of.html

Hare Brahs 70% have to be infected or vaccinated to reach herd immunity, the only problem is that infection in males has been shown to damage the testicles enough to lower sex hormone levels, the only question is, is it permanent damage? Do you seriously want to take that risk, Sweden may have actually just wiped themselves out, their birth rate was already hopeless before this. The jokes on them, so don't rush to join that ship of fools.
