Well this is the way I see it, if you are not smart enough to work out why real STEM jobs are dominated by men then you are not smart enough to do such work, yeah actual work, not some bullshit job created to keep you busy and fill a quota where you just get in the way of the professionals and annoy the crap out of everyone when they are busy. BTW engineers are the most "autistic" professionals, according to a study run by the University of Cambridge. Couple that with the fact that males are 3 to 4 times more likely to suffer from ADS and you have one very solid and genetically determined reason for the numbers being skewed. This also suggests that attacking the engineering profession because of their "culture" is really an attack against people with a recognised disability because of how that disability is manifest during social interactions.
