@eighteenfiftynine sure, we did so so poorly after WW2 when Labour got in charge. Ya know, when they established the NHS and welfare state and rebuilt the country after it was ruined. Blair was an awful warmonger, but he didnt ruin the country. Tories have done way way more damage to the NHS, public services and general unity. They are the destroyers, you arent being objective.

@Liberty-Jamie you’ll never get better if you accept that, standards will get worse and worse as they are cause ‘no-one is better’. Hell bring Theresa May back for all I care, but we cannot tolerate his behaviour. We must go through the pain of a messy leadership race, if the Tories cannot do that, call an election. Enough is enough, lack of options is not a satisfactory excuse.

@crewie94 its tough though. As a young man I renounced Labour for all their corruption and Blair taking us into illegal wars. I figured Cameron seemed decent and the Thatcher years were way before my time so unfair baggage. I regret this, but now I also won’t forget that Labour is also very scummy (although less bad). We need more options in politics.

Its the classic bs politics talk. They claim it ‘wasnt a party’ and when faced with evidence they’ll claim it as a technicality as a ‘work gathering’ and claim BoJo still wasnt there. I seriously dunno what the Met is playing at, they have security there. Ask the coppers working the building that night and check the CCTV to see all the drunk people leaving.

Corbyn actually was super in touch, his own party stabbed him in the back repeatedly and blocked him from leading as he should by them undermining him. Those scum decided they knew better and didnt want him as he would’ve made it harder for their gravy train. It was years of hearing the lies about him and no-one in Labour backing him that truly stopped him. Brexit was just the final nail in the coffin.

I mean, the crime is pretty clear. He broke covid rules on gatherings. The same ones that meant the Queen sat alone at her husbands funeral. She respected them enough to not break them for any birthday cake. Boris also has a history of this stuff. Did you hear the leaked phone call where he was plotting with his chum to jump a journalist and put him in the hospital because the journo was writing negative stories about his mate. The man is a disgrace.
