  1.  @lifeofentropy  many cancers are not curable. Most medicines just delay the inevitable. Many return with full force. I don't think they've cured cancer. Otherwise no one would die from it. And most do. Or yeah, they're taking treatments for the rest of their life, which in many cases is worse than the cancer, and that's if they can survive the treatment.
