No you don't! Read, learn,study, you don't need Oxford or Cambridge to learn enough to be able to analyse, think critically and construct arguments. Relying on others to do your thinking for you is absolute food and drink to anyone with a desire to have power or influence.

@MrRQBQ Not at all. Sadly, thanks to our dumbed down education system and popular culture thousands of people DO NOT have those abilities. Hence, they become prey to anyone who has. I agree that we need people to speak on our behalf but before that we must know what it is we want them to argue.
