"Akin to declaring war?" Dude, you are bombing residential areas right now. That is "declaring war."

Why? He's doing great. It's mainly just loser Republicans "concern trolling" that want him to drop out.
17
Yes, they want to control us by telling us we can do what we want. That makes perfect sense. How evil of them.
7
It's available online, this is just a summary.
6
And?
6
Sad.

@UCQwZriBPaj7DAzPKF8zNohA I think sometimes these people don't get how "the Internet" works, and imagine that full motion official video channels will be up the instant after something happens.

Most politicians are fine, Putin is something different.
2
@untetheredmoon6971 Look at basically any Trump speech. He gives a ton of them and they are all rambling nonsense. "Build the wall" only existed in the first place as something he could remember to say when he got lost.
2
@sadienailedit7467 Well, they didn't know that their candidate would have a stroke months after they nominated him, nor did they expect Republicans to be so petty as to hold that against him.
2
@josh18230 If it isn't yet on Youtube, then it will be soon enough. It's possible that some new organization has the release rights to the full version and haven't uploaded it yet.
2
@user-qy9tf2im7f If that didn't post, just do a basic search for "fetterman oz full debate," and click on anything by a reputable news network.
2
@NickApex I posted the link several times in the replies to this post, if you can't see them it's because Youtube is blocking any links, which they often do. The link I posted was from a local Pennsylvanian news network, it is still up, and it took me all of ten second of searching, so what is your damage?
2
What's to salvage? Just pass both bills and there's no problem.
2
That reflects poorly on your sense of judgement. Good thing you aren't running for anything.
1
@zacharybibb1141 But, again, anyone who could look at Doctor Oz and go "yeah, he should be a senator in 2022, when the country is going the way it's going," is displaying poor judgement.
1
Just like how Dr. Oz reminds me of Prince Farquaad.
1
I can trust that they are basing it on science, but I also think that it is woefully naive, it is trusting people to behave responsibly when they have spent the last year that they are literally DYING to behave as irresponsibly as anyone will allow them to be. We may be at the point where some people can safely go without masks, but we're not yet at the point where those who are still unsafe to go without masks can be trusted to keep their masks on when other people don't have to.
1
" Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Anyone claiming to tell you what the future will bring is not of God or Jesus.
1
@OptimusPrinceps_Augustus He was thinking just fine, better than Oz. He just couldn't speak well, because he had a stroke, and it reflects poorly on your own intelligence that you don't understand any of what I just said.
1
@AD-mq9yh There are people out there "concern trolling" him, implying that he's unfit to run or hold office, because they would rather have Doctor Oz in the Senate. These people are therefore showing that they are much less intellectually capable than John Fetterman.
1
@Meatman419 It reflects poorly on your mental state that you are unable to tell the difference between someone who has cognition problems (which means he "don't think good"), vs someone with speech problems (which means he "can't talk good."" Democrats are just smarter than to make that mistake. Unfortunately, a lot of people aren't, and think Trump was a credible candidate for public office.
1
@Meatman419 Not compared to Einstein, but compared to anyone who would consider voting Republican in 2022? Of course every Democrat is smarter. Low bar though.
1
@AD-mq9yh It's ok to feel bad for the guy, but not to use that as an excuse to vote against him. And the reason that people would choose Dr. Oz over Fetterman is because they are less intellectually capable than Fetterman, and they don't like how me makes them feel dumb. There is no good reason to vote for Doctor Oz in the 2022 election, he's running as a Republican candidate.
1
@twodog4220 I voted against the senile candidate in 2020, I voted for Biden, not Trump. And there's nothing wrong with voting for a stoke victim, plenty of people have strokes. It's incorrect and curel to claim that he's "incapacitated," he's fully functional, outside of his speech abilities, which are not necessary to serve as a Senator. It's like you're saying that people shouldn't have elected Bob Dole because his arm didn't work well or something.
1
@AD-mq9yh Unfortunately, yes. There was a time when voting Republican was a valid option, they were a party that, while often wrong, were at least deserving of respect. But the party has been taken over with insurrectionists and election deniers, it has become a cult devoted to supporting the person of Donald Trump wherever he leads, and it would be ignorant and irresponsible for anyone to vote for that party until that changes. They need to wander the desert for 40 years, or until they manage to drain their swamp and excise the tumor of the MAGA cult.
1
@user-qy9tf2im7f That's nonsense. Youtube does not scrub actual news videos. Maybe you've been looking for it on shady channels.
1
@phoenixblanco3892 I don't believe there is "deliberate suppression" here, so much as just a coincidence of how Youtube algorithms tend to work. They tend to prefer short form videos over long form, so short clips tend to rise to the top over long clips, regardless of quality or contents. It also tends to take more time for long form videos to be uploaded to the platform, and more people tend to watch short videos than long ones, so the short ones get more views early, which push them up in the rankings again. I don't think that Youtube is doing anything deliberate to "scrub" credible full copies of the debate, it's just how their algorithms tend to work for ANY sort of content.
1
@phoenixblanco3892 That's a fun little conspiracy theory you've got there, shame it isn't actually true. Why do conservatives always seem to have a persecution complex about these things? Do they understand that liberals get hit by algorithmic results and post-removals just as often as conservatives do? Liberals just don't get as butt-hurt about it when it happens.
1
@Alwaysgetsdeleted Account There are pay-fors in the bill. The pay-fors are the parts the Republicans want to remove from the bill, because they want to "print money." The bill as proposed by the Democrats would be fiscally responsible.
1
@timmythehydra7481 Exacty. I mean, the bills are massively popular with the American people, so why should we let Senate Republicans logjam the whole deal? Put American first.
1
Difference being that Fetterman has had a stroke that impacts his speech, while his actual decision-making is entirely intact, whereas Walker believes that he's a cowboy sheriff because he has a costume badge and paid to his one of his many illegitimate children murdered.
1
@camomaxx While it's true that they are not comparable, you got them backwards. Walker is the one that is incapable of stringing thoughts together, Fetterman just has trouble with speaking due to his recent stroke. If you can't understand why that distinction matters, then I'm afraid I can't dumb it down for you any further. Also, Fetterman never paid to have his own child murdered like Walker.
1
@stevefraioli4838 Whoa, whoa, don't use such big words, you're losing Alex.
1
What is the point of this video? Democrats lifting the debt ceiling in 2017 vs them doing it in 2021? Duh. The issue in 2021 is that the Republicans seem unwilling to lift it for any reason.
1
Well, it's important to remember that Republicans want diabetics to die. Keep that in mind in the fall if any of you know anyone with diabetes.
1
@TheTruth-13 No, the US does not do the same.
1
@Srbenda126 No, Ukrainian soldiers are not hiding in schools and residential areas, that's just what Russian state media wants you to believe.
1
@tonyporter6712 We dropped the nukes over 75 years ago, the pilots who did so are already dead. Knowing what we know now, we would not drop those bombs today. Standards evolve over time. The current standard of warfare is that you do not indiscriminately bomb civilian targets.
1
@Srbenda126 Putin opposes nothing other than people not paying enough attention to him. He is an infant with a gun, dangerous, but also pathetic.
