One thing I'm curious to see in all of this is, "modern masculinity" seems to be framed as removing aspects of "traditional masculinity" that are somehow viewed as harmful, and also adding aspects ot masculinity that are traditionally associated with femininity. My question is, what aspects should be added to "modernly masculine" frameworks that are not traditionally feminine? Is "modern masculinity" just about men becoming more feminine, or is there a genuinely uniquely male aspect to it that would be retained?
