  1. We need to end the for-profit pharmaceutical industry. It just does not make any sense. It should all be nationalized, with all drugs being sold at production cost, and all research funded via government grant, with vital life-saving medicines taking priority. "It's not profitable" should never be a reason for anything involved in medicine.
