  1. Ukrainian officials have said that the kherson counter offensive is nothing more than a disinformation campaign to demoralize advancing russian allied forces. They simply don't have enough men and equipment to do the offensive. Ukrainian general has said he will resign if the government insists on proceeding with the kherson offensive plan. Aside from lacking experienced men and equipment, there is also a geographic reason for not going with the plan, it is a flat land with many open plains, allowing drones to observe the UAF movement miles away. Previous eleven attempts of advancing towards kherson have ended in disaster after massive artillery bombardments and major aircraft support. Also the western sources have exaggerated the strategic importance of the antonovsky bridge. Just like they are exaggerating the importance of snake island.

  2.  @rogerphelps9939  that's the ukranian wet dream scenario, but unfortunately it isn't the truth. they do have a way out. There's a path through Zaporozhye farther east, as well as poontoons and ferries right beside the antonovsky bridge which keep up a constant stream of supplies. Not to mention the ukrainian cant advance anyway, because of overwhelming russian artillery and air support. The only place ukraine is winning is social media.
