@meetup9408 exactly! The US would "categorically reject it" because it's "unworkable" despite not being a direct participant. Says a lot who makes the decision.

@RoachChaddjr "take ukrane" is not on the agenda. Take donbas, now that's the real objective. Remember that the goal is denatzeefication and demilitarization. The longer this goes the more ukr military capacity degrades aka demilitarized. Not to mention the effect it has on ukr backers with all the inflation, recession, and unrest all over europe and US, as well as the depleting military stocks (check out politico article where british military official says it will take UK 10 years to replenish all the military stocks that has been donated. Need i remind you that UK is facing severe economic crisis right now?) The longer this goes, the worse it is for both ukr and the west. So it's not russia that's losing time, it has plenty. Which is why the west is staking everything on this one last ditch effort. Mark my word, by the time the offensive either achieved its goal or petered out, peace talk will follow. This war will end before the end of this year, and the peace proposal will include demilitarization and cessation of the newly acquired territory. And the media will paint it as ukr victory despite everything.
