Funniest projection I've ever read. Russia conducted over 200 air sorties into ukr proper on almost a daily basis, which is the method they used to launch cruise missiles to destroy the power plant (on top of using sea-launched cruise missiles from the black sea). Ukr don't have anti-air capabilities anymore since they ran out of S300 and it's missiles, which is why they are BEGGING for the inferior patriot systems. Ukr meanwhile only had a few SU-24 and SU-25 left which they rarely used because most had been shot down.

@Hmonks russia is MASSIVE. It's not possible to place an anti aircraft system within every inch of it. It succeeded in hitting two smaller air bases which housed a few aircraft, but it failed to hit Engels airbase which is the main staging point for the tupolev bomber because it was intercepted. One of the converted drones which are targeting the smaller airbase was intercepted too late, but this is necessary because otherwise it will fall in a civilian populated area. We're not like ukr, firing wildly and then having it hit the citizens and later blame russia for it.

ARRASHIK i read the comments section and it's hilarious how desperate everyone is for copium that they literally buy and sell anything fictitious. Meanwhile russia launched between 70-100 missiles every week to destroy the power grid. Everyone literally becomes so desensitized to the news considering how often it is reported on france24 and sky news.

Russia still does. But satellites can't see through objects like in the movies. If equipment that's shipped is being covered and they have several means of transport, it's not easy to tell which one contains the equipment. This is where intelligence comes in. The patriot system is immobile, it can't be moved around once set up. Expect it to be destroyed fairly quickly.

@girthbrookz4303 thermal imaging can't see through walls. It's a Hollywood fantasy, it's not an x-ray. It is used to track heat emitting objects like soldiers and active military equipment. It cant be used on inert patriot systems on transport because it's not used and thus emits no heat signatures. The duration of setting up a system like patriot depends on its operator's number and skills, and the number of equipment being deployed on the ground. You also seem unable to grasp the idea that setting up and packing up these systems continuously is counterproductive, because it will not be usable during that downtime, so it's incapable of giving protection which is what it is for since it's a defense equipment, not offense. This is why i said it's immobile, it was not meant to be moved around since it was meant to keep out enemy's aircraft and missiles. Cruise missiles won't be detected the moment it was fired, usually it took a while till it enters the area with radar coverage. And if it flies low, it will be even harder. So 15 - 30 minutes is a very short window to move the equipment away. Seriously who's the dummy here?

@rubenvasquez8750 russia manage to defend itself in ww1, and marched into berlin and saved europe from a certain ideology singlehandedly in ww2. Russia is the first to reach space. Look at russian economy now and tell me it's going to collapse like they did for the last 9 months. Meanwhile europe is dying from stupidity. How's the Christmas tree? Probably dark lol

@owlie373 an empire collapse gave way to the Bolsheviks. It did not cause the whole nation to collapse. The same thing can be said here, without the soviet participations the west wouldn't be able to turn the tide, neither would the US participate with its isolationist policy. And at the end of the day, it's russians that made it to berlin. Again, the same can be said here. it's the russian that prevented the german from getting into the Caucasus oil fields. Italy performed very poorly, it's not that powerful. And the only reason japan fell is because they used the forbidden weapon. The US did give some limited weapon to the soviet through its lend lease but it's very limited. The russian tank and weapons seen on the battlefield are russian made. The US built all soviet factories? That's pure fantasy, clown.

@girthbrookz4303 xaver 1000 is a radio emitter which use an AI to differentiate a target behind the walls based on it's signature. It's like an X ray machine and thus had to be placed directly in front of the walls to work. Mounting this sort of equipment on satellite is not practical because satellites are miles above the earth. Think of it like this, when you shine a flashlight on a wall in front of you, the lights will provide enough illumination to see what's on it. Now move about 30 metres away, and the lights on that wall will dim due to scattering effects. Shine your flashlight on the moon, and nothing happens. Mounting this on satellite will make it impossible to see anything due to its distance, not to mention the atmospheric diffusion. Look, I didn't say the tech to see through walls did not exist, because even natural animals can detect everything inside a room through acute sense which we can easily replicate with tech. The problem is just that no practical tech can be mounted on satellites to see through walls exists just yet.

@reedraikes7471 example? Chinese anti-air system, hypersonic missiles, cruise missiles, and many others are based on russia's design which they have a technology sharing contract with. The US does not share its tech with anyone including their allies.

@DrCruel FYI russia has captured marinka, andreevka, and close to capturing soledar (it may have already been). Bakhmut is encircled and under constant shelling while russia just sit back, relax, and fire the artillery/mortars, leading to numerous casualties in ukr side. Ever wonder why the zaporozhye offensive has not materialized? They are pouring everything into bakhmut.
1
@DrCruel why force it to fall when the ukranian gracefully provided russia with constant artillery target with zero efforts? Actually getting the place to fall will only push the ukranian to a more defensible position. Russia doesn't care about western optics, it's doing very well on its own and proceeds at its own pace. That thousands of dead conscripts in bakhmut would not be easy to hide for long. 30+ of the most powerful nations provided aid, meanwhile the ukranian is advancing backwards 🤣🤣🤣🤣
1
@DrCruel everything you said is wrong. War isn't all about territory, you can't win war by claiming everywhere and have the troops stretch thin and decrease by a batallion every 10 days (ukr admission). The only one who puts conscripts in war is ukr, who's on it's 7th round of conscription by now, and is now bringing in women into battle (look up about the news of ukr clothing factory working 24/7 to provide army clothes to women). This is not the case for russia who until now had only mobilized once. You need to learn more about the difference between mobilization and conscription then come back here. Even zaluzhny himself said that russian mobilization has been very successful and he's the ukr commander in chief. Territory stalemate does not equate to a stalemate in losses. Look up the news about kherson hospital being full and the doctors working 24/7, look up also about the news of wounded troops being moved to kiev due to the lack of hospital beds. You never provided any sources for your wild claims.

@emericdion i can show you an official direct frontline reports from bakhmut as well as videos on telegram if you want. Conscripts? Russia don't use conscripts. Are you referring to ukrane?
1
@emericdion it's not one video. There's one video of frontline reports, as well as abundance of footage where the ukranian didn't make any contact and gets shelled and killed by artillery after advancing into houses. This is the majority of the war. There are of course some minor skirmishes here and there where russia wants to make a breakthrough such as now liberated marinka, andreevka, and close to being liberated area like soledar (it may already have) as well as the place where ukr is trying to make the advance. But as the ukranian soldiers themselves admit in WaPo published article, most of their losses are not from direct battle, but shelling. Russia did not use conscription. Ukrane did. Russia mobilized it's reserves. If you can't tell the differences between mobilization and conscription, you are not qualified to have this argument.
