  1. the way the company view piracy is strange. if the game is pirated 500.000 times, that means they lost possible profits for 500.000 copies of the game. the thing is, there's less than 5% of that 500.000 that would actually buy the game. most of that number are either kids with no money, or those unwilling to pay for the game one way or the other. either way, they gain nothing even if their games aren't pirated. they literally cashed in crazy amount of money for piracy protection, which dwarves the amount of possible profits they can make from having their games not pirated. why? just why?
