  1. gas hoarding is not going to gouge the price up unless it was done on a massive scale, of which it will be apparent very quickly. but if a smaller player decided to hoard gas and push the price up a little, then other suppliers will increase the supply to make a short term profits on a sudden price surge, stabilizing the market relatively quickly. have i mention it's very illegal in most countries?
