@idklol318 they held on for more than a month and that's pretty impressive, especially with low supplies.

@Nichòlas Nicholas because one is a defender defending a country and the other is an extremist group defending their stolen lands. Yes i am aware of human rights violation by the azov that's defending mariupol, but i highly doubt it can top isis slavery and prostitution ring (which is supposed to be forbidden in their religion btw), forced underage marriage, incessant murders and systemic slaughter, gruesome/inhumane execution etc.

They tried evacuating before with helicopter, but russian shot both down. Now to their back is the sea and everywhere else is enemy. The only ends for them is either surrender or death.

@Nichòlas Nicholas yes, i know all about them keeping the civilian to prevent further bombardment and the mariupol civilian welcoming russian troops, and more than 50% of mariupol citizen supports russia because they felt wronged by ukrainian military. But they still fought for 47 days with minimum supplies. While they may not fight for mariupol they are still fighting for their country. And now their government is leaving them for dead.
