  1. currently the UK is facing energy shortage that's predicted only going to get worse. immediately stopping imports of oil and gas is equal to shooting oneself on the knee. the situation in ukraine is bad, true, but every countries prioritize their own interest over other countries issues. this news are merely headlines to appease anti-war sentiments amongst the crowds. same reason why germany is now sending weapons to ukraine due to the people's pressure even thought they don't want to before the rally, yet still importing tons of russian oils and gas at the same time.
