This aircraft, first deployed during the soviet era, caused quite a stir in the west. Back then no one knew what it was, most thought that it was a very advanced aircraft that would pose a direct threat to the west. It turns out to be a supersonic interceptor meant to tackle an incoming ICBM (back then a multi-warhead ICBM was not yet deployed so it is easier to intercept with an aircraft). It is capable of flying high and fast, so while it is mostly incomparable to modern fighter jets, it is still a highly valued piece of aircraft and still quite useful for reconnaissance and training.

@worldoftancraft it matters because zelensky had continuously insinuate that russian is destroying civilian buildings, when it's actually occupied by military forces. That first video is shot from an airport rooftop. Recently zelensky made a remark that russian is destroying airport which is civilian infrastructure and condemned russia for it. Get it? It's an information war, telling half-truth or straight out lies.

Russia pursue it's own interests, security in this case, just as ukr backers pursue an agenda to weaken it's adversary. There are no "good guys". They simply dealt less destruction throughout the world compared to ukr backers, and this happens in neighboring areas, not some nation in the middle of the desert it has no business being in. This is why rus got sympathy from many nations who were the victim of western agression.

@robburgundy9539 modern tank DOES have an AI assisted aim actually, though it's still up to the crew to fire or not. Best move is to fire because when comes down to it, the one who fired first will survive. The new armata tank is equipped with this, though some older models have also been refurbished in a modernization program. So yeah, like op said, DO NOT RECORD TANKS in a conflict zones because YOU can be the target of a false flag.

@tigrehermano 0:08 those are missiles, the flares are deployed at the same time and after it turns (the bright colored ones are the flares). The video also show the area which the missile hits a while later (white smoke rising, as description says). Also read the description properly thank you

@rak6437 depends on what type of drones. Ukr rarely used the bayraktar for strikes anymore due to overwhelming russian AA cover, so they mostly used it in recon missions on the outskirts of AA covered area due to its long flight duration compared to conventional drones.

@brandondavis7777 lots of possible reason for that one. Stuff like misfire (missile aren't 100% precise especially the artillery variant) possible intel on ukrainian troops occupying a supposedly protected areas like hospital (remember that time when isra3l fired bombs at hospital because they heard ham@s were forming up in there? Stuff like this is not unheard of) as well as equipment malfunction. Besides, think about it. They could have done it, yet they haven't. If you have other explanation other than to avoid war crimes, I'm all ears.

isn't this that offensive that was repulsed and got several ukr soldiers captured and recorded on video from 2 weeks ago? edit: prigozhin comment on 72 brigade is false. russia does not have the "72 brigade". ukr has one but it's currently on the other front.
