@Ribb Rotgut That means when in the womb there is still a heart beat but the dr.s know for a fact the fetus won't survive at all past childbirth. Thus it's effectively dead because while it's still alive at that moment it won't be when it goes through the trauma of being born.

@nordriket spoken like a guy that doesn't know anything about childbirth. Do you realize how traumatic and how many health risks there are to giving birth? Women die all the time in the US especially giving birth cuz it's like you passing a bowling ball out of your ass. How much would that hurt and how well could you handle that? So the dr's have to make a decision during late term abortion. Do we kill the mother to deliver the baby or let the baby die and save the mother.

@nordriket because don't you think having your stomach cut open and having your hips pretty much broken might possibly be dangerous and could harm the mother just to get to a baby that won't survive anyway? Yes C sections are a lot safer now than they were but they are not without risk
