WolfMan if that was actually the case don't you think the gorilla handler would have recognized that and done something different?  No there was a threat to the boy and tranqs wouldn't have worked quickly enough to stop him that's why he shot him.  Now if you want to do a dicks out for an unfortunate animal then I recommend Cecil the lion that was hunted and killed by a dentist even though he was on protected land.

WolfMan so she let her guard down for a minute which is all it takes and she's now a monster because she made a mistake?  NO not at all she was human and didn't do anythng out of malice or hatred for her child she just turned away for a minute and that's all it takes.  Of course she didn't get charged because of the same reason you didn't get charged for forgetting a deadline or whatever mistake you made in the past week.

WolfMan so you know more about gorilla behavior then the person that has studied them and cared for them for years?  Again you don't think if the handler thought there was another option he wouldn't have taken it?  And why isn't Cecil relevant at all?  he was minding his own business and hurting no one in protected land but a guy that thought he was better than nature decided to destroy an already endangered species for fun.
