There's actually a few things that don't work for the capitalist mindset. Healthcare education and prison systems. All of those are necessary and always get taxpayer funding to keep them going so there should never be a person or person's making money off of programs that the taxpayer already takes care of.

@giantsmla and how much would that same operation with room stay and tests would it cost in the US? Probably upwards of 500 000. So him paying 10 000 is a major scoop for him even if he is paying out of pocket and the reason for that is because of our single payer system which keeps costs down because there is no middle man jacking up the prices for treatment.

and you just know if that asshole wasn't so well known he would have gone the Sarah Palin route and forged a Canadian ID to get our healthcare for free.
