  5. @Devotee777  I agree. But I think the rhetoric of fear from the left is trying to distract from the actual goal. I think a balanced budget should be a requirement if not a constitutional amendment. I also think that we the people should have more say in the use of our money beyond our elected officials because they're not being good stewards. BTW, cutting excess from social security other programs doesn't mean the benefits in my mind. Better management could actually increase benefits.
