  2. In Albany/Saratoga plowing, salting and other preparations would have been going 24 hours before the first snow.

  3. It just seems the 'main roads' and highways at least should have been plowed nonstop for police, ambulance and fire vehicles. .... I wouldn't expect all side roads to be cleared of course. We had 6 days advance warning; all cars should've parked on the even side of the street.
