  1. Without qualified immunity a cop will be handcuffed. He or she each could be sued 50 times a year. They'd have to leave the profession or go personally bankrupt.

  4.  @TheMityquin  It's the legal fees also tho TM. You can win the battle but lose the war. Lawyers can charge up to $1,000- per hour and most want money up front with no guarantee of results. Btw.... try winning a case(as a cop) in Harlem, Chicago or the Bronx, etc..
