  1. I think high end stores will have to use jail bars that descend at night so no one can get in the store. Another option would be developing a no touch device/curtain so if intruders passed a certain point all would be deterred/stymied, etc. temporarily at least. A spray system of indelible paint(red or yellow) is another option in lieu of mechanical devices.
