  1. Absent humongous events Dems are guaranteed 42% of the nationwide vote. Technically they need 50.10%. Thus they've got to win over various subsets of people to win so they upchuck their equity vocabulary. It's like a rake picking up leaves on the front lawn, no stone's left unturned.
